The lodge is located just a 2 minute drive or 5-10 minute walk away from the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park entrance, where you will start your trek to see Uganda’s mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Mahogany Springs Lodge is located in the Buhoma region of Bwindi Imenetrable National Park, within a 5-10 minute walk or 2 minute drive of the gorilla trekking starting point.

Mahogany Springs is a short flight, (70-90 minutes), from Entebbe to KIHIHI followed by a 60 minute transfer. Or alternatively, you can drive through Uganda and stop off at various other locations including Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, safaris around Queen Elizabeth National Park and lots more.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated in the south-western part of Uganda and is one of the most biologically diverse areas in Africa. As well as being home to over half the world’s population of mountain gorillas, Bwindi contains over 120 species of mammals, 220 butterflies and 350 bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers and wildlife photographers.
