Lake George View Golf Resort- nature’s corner of tranquillity

In the quiet and peaceful part of Lake George View Golf Resort in Kasese, a tourist is welcome to relax by their cottage balcony that offers a beautiful view of the lake against the blue, white and grey skyline backdrop. The calmness is complemented by chirping birds that play and momentarily settle on the windows and tended colourful flowers, trees and shrubbery that encircle the round cottages to give and allow privacy for guests.

The resort is situated two and a half kilometres from the Kasese-Kikorongo road and 10 minutes from Queen Elizabeth National Park in south western Uganda. Some of the scenic places to see include the Queen Elizabeth’s Pavilion from where you are able to enjoy a plateau panorama. On your way, you’ll be seeing elephants, kobs and other wildlife and bird species that find home in the lush vegetation greenery.

The natural beauty forms the attractions that neighbour the resort, a place where you are welcome to have a countryside experience that’s satisfying with simple offerings of nature which has been creatively manipulated to cater to your preferences of having good service by attentive staff, continental and local culinary delights. Tourists can also enjoy leisurely golf sessions, nature walks in the forest, fairly challenging hiking trails, cycling, visits to explore fishing communities at the lake which is also home to aquatic species, birds and wildlife. 

In the evening, a campfire is lit for patrons to sit, warm their bodies, share stories or be entertained by a traditional troupe from the area. There’s a possibility of dreaming in colours at Lake George View Golf Resort. All the cottages face the lakes and hills, namely Bwenanule, Kinyabakazi and Mitibiri whose greenery blossoms in splendour when the rains fall and water the earth.

At daybreak, birds will be chirping as the sun rises over the undulating horizon, offering a picturesque rich colourful view for your bear eye or photographic indulgence. You have the choice to have your breakfast early or late, and you have the choice of having it at the restaurant or being served in bed. All kinds of guests are welcome at the 25-acre resort.

It is a haven for honeymooners, lovers, friends, individuals, corporate companies and any entities who would like to step out and away from the hustle and bustle of the city or their usual environs to slow down, refresh and recharge their minds, bodies and souls. If it is not for pure leisure, you can choose to have a retreat at the resort which has enough space for team-building activities. There is a conference room that can accommodate up to 100 people.
