Ewange – A casa mia (At my place) is a small and cozy B&B in Uganda, near Kampala managed by a Ugandan-Italian couple. Whether you’re travelling for leisure or business, at Ewange you can enjoy true Ugandan hospitality with an Italian touch in a family atmosphere.
We have six stylish and nicely decorated double rooms which underline our passion for detail. A beautiful mature garden and a swimming pool to relax are at your disposal.

We are conveniently located outside the hustle and bustle of Kampala, Uganda, on the hill of Buziga with spectacular views of Lake Victoria and yet within 20 minutes’ drive to downtown or 30 minutes’ drive to Entebbe airport.

The Ewange story

Elena and James are an Italian-Ugandan couple who spend their life between Milan and Kampala. A couple of years ago Elena discovered an abandoned house owned by James on the hill of Buziga in Kampala and was immediately fascinated by the stunning view of the lake and the surrounding area.
“At night you have a feeling of gazing down on stars as the surrounding lights from the houses below light up”.

The couple soon decided to transform that old house into a small and cozy B&B in Uganda and Elena, who is passionate about interior design, started furnishing and decorating the place.
“We wanted it to be Ugandan but with an Italian touch, just like us”.
