Coconut Beach holiday resort is not just any other resort. We go further. For our customers and for our community.

The dream of Coconut Beach started a few years ago in 2018 with Co-Founder Justine Ojambo. Local to the region, Justine is the driving force behind a successful Ugandan Charity called PEFO, which is focused on orphans and underprivileged children in rural areas.

Business that Supports Charity

To give his charity a more solid foundation, Justine sought to find a partner to start the holiday resort project. The guiding idea is that through a part of the profit, this private initiative can contribute the Pefo charity long term and help it reach all those in need in the region.

In 2019, Justine found the right people to partner with when he met Robert and Martine van Espelo from the Netherlands. Already engaged in the Pefo foundation, they decided that Coconut Beach was the adventure of a life time that could be beneficial to the area economically by attracting more tourism and humanitarian by providing funding for Pefo.
