Dr. Albert Cook’s house in Makindye Built-in 1920, the birthplace of Kabaka Mutesa 1. Albert Ruskin Cook was a Church Missionary Society (CMS) doctor in Uganda. He was born in Hampstead. As an important historical site for Uganda, Dr Cook left a small brick-walled house in Kizungu, that served as his first medical centre.
